Job summary
Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking a Green Cove Springs Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home support to local seniors in Green Cove Springs, FL.
You will assist with daily living, prepare meals, engage clients in hobbies, and document updates for the care team. Commitment to safety and quality care is essential.
Previous caregiving welcomed; CPR is required; CNA/HHA certifications welcomed; drivers with reliable transportation encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
- Minimum Of 6 Months Caregiving Experience Preferred.
- CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
- Current in-person CPR certification required.
- Passion for helping others and serving the community.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening.
Responsibilities
- Providing a helping hand.
- Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build meaningful relationships.
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.).
- Prepare meals for clients to enjoy.
- Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
- Document completed activities and report updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
