Job summary

QuickCruit in Plano, TX is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, ensuring dignity and respect at all times. You will respond to calls, assist with meals and dining room setup, and help maintain residents' rooms and laundry as directed.

You will monitor residents' conditions, follow Level of Care, document assignments, and work with supervisors to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Provides residents assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Assists residents meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Responds to resident calls in a timely manner.
• Answers and responds to resident calls.
• Assists with dining room setup and meals for residents.
• Cleans and tidies resident rooms as directed by supervisor.
• Assists with resident laundry as directed by supervisor.
• Establishes and maintains good relationships with residents and families.
• Follows OSHA regulations when disposing of incontinent products.
• Practices proper body mechanics when lifting and follows safety guidelines.
• Responds to resident emergencies.
• Works assigned schedule and clocks in/out as required.
