Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit on the 6th Floor of Florence, SC. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and focus on delivering patient-centered care in line with MUSC policies.

The role emphasizes leadership within the unit, professional development, and adherence to standards of care, with a 36-hour work week (7a–7p) and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required and active RN licensure in SC or compact state.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• At least 1 year of RN work experience in a acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age-appropriate care.
• Coordinate patient care with focus on privacy, respect, and professional behavior.
• Participate in shared governance and promote clinical excellence and accountability.
