Job summary

Iowa Skilled Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to perform assessments, planning, supervision, interventions, and evaluations ensuring quality care for patients in a skilled nursing setting.

The RN will use the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care, maintain an environment that promotes safety, and assist patients in regaining independence as they return home when possible.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience preferred: 1 year in a skilled setting.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• ACLS certification from AHA preferred.
• Must have electronic charting system experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, planning, supervision, interventions, and evaluations.
• Utilize nursing process to provide quality care according to standards.
• Ensure safe care environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assess safety risks and implement precautions per policy.
• Assist patients in regaining abilities and adapting to lifestyle.
