Job summary

Encore Village is currently hiring a Registered Nurse PRN for our assisted living program in Schaumburg, IL. The RN will provide direct resident care, assess conditions, administer medications, and supervise CNAs under the DON and medical team.

Applicants must hold Illinois RN or LPN licensure, have a current CPR card, and graduate from an accredited RN program. One year of long-term care experience is preferred; prior comfort with EMR documentation is expected.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN or LPN licensure.
• Current CPR card.
• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing program.
• One-year experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in direct resident care.
• Monitor residents and communicate changes to physicians and families.
• Administer medications per policy and document in the EMR.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure timely delivery of care and adherence to care plans.
