Responsibilities

• Provide nursing interventions per Plan of Care and standards of practice.
• Conduct Hourly Rounds using service excellence standards.
• Foster an environment of caring, compassion, and respect for patients, families and visitors.
• Utilize health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff.
• Care for central lines, Foley catheters, pressure ulcers, ventilators, restraints and fall risks as applicable.
• Support department efficiency, serve as Charge Nurse when assigned and precept new staff.
