Job summary

Truman Medical Centers' Lakewood Family Medicine Clinic in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate patient care in a dynamic clinic setting. You will work 40 hours per week on a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care.

Required MO RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, BCLS certification, and at least one year in medical-surgical or a specialty area.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri.
• Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Experience: minimum of one year in medical/surgical or the applicable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses using the nursing process to assess, plan and deliver care.
• Assess, plan and implement care delivery, evaluating progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in committees to improve care delivery.
• Mentor and supervise students, sharing knowledge and contributing to education.
• Stay compliant with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational/regulatory requirements.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing program

Current RN license in Missouri

Current BCLS certification
