Job summary

NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our skilled nursing team in Anniston, Alabama. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care, support patient and resident outcomes, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers Full Time status with negotiable schedule and compensation based on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available, with benefits including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and nursing standards.
• Assess patient and resident needs and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Communicate changes in condition to physicians and care team.
• Supervise nursing assistants and other staff as appropriate.
• Assist with development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and policies.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate care environment.
