Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, health education, and services for residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, coordinating unit care, administering medications, transcribing orders, performing assessments, and developing care plans to stabilize residents and prevent complications.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license to practice in North Carolina or a compact license allowing practice in NC.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Strong patient-centered care, compassion, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, ensuring appropriate care.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding residents' health status and notify physicians of changes.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and implement nursing interventions to stabilize conditions and prevent complications.
• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and development of a care plan.
