Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• ACLS and/or PALS within 6 months of hire is required.
• BLS certification from AHA/Red Cross is required at hire; multistate licenses must establish residency within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with the health care team.
• Maintains accurate documentation of nursing services and acts as patient advocate.
• Takes part in planning and implementing care, teaching patients and families.
• Delivers medications and ensures safe operation of care equipment.
• Practices according to Oregon State Board of Nursing rules and department criteria.
