Lifepoint Health is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for our Med-Surge unit in Wilson, NC. The role focuses on high-quality inpatient care in a 22-bed unit with RN, CNA, and patient sitter support. You will assess, plan, and document patient needs while contributing to interdisciplinary care plans.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and nursing degree from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• New grad RNs welcomed; 1 year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
