Job summary

NORTHEAST COUNSELING SERVICES in Drums, PA is seeking compassionate Residential Workers for our Personal Care Home. You will provide direct support to residents, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

This per-diem role offers meaningful work within a community-focused nonprofit. Responsibilities include medication monitoring, budgeting support, documentation, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required.
• Commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and support their independence.
• Monitor and document resident behaviors, needs, and overall well-being.
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or behavioral health to supervisory staff.
• Support residents with medication monitoring and financial budgeting as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
• Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Treat all residents with dignity, compassion, and respect.
