Qualifications

• 3+ years driving experience (preferred)
• Experience with geriatric population desirable
• Must hold a valid driver's license with clean DMV record
• Commitment to dignity, respect, and safety of residents
• Ability to follow regulations, policies, and procedures
• Must be able to multi-task and handle changing priorities
• Able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff
• Willing to work beyond normal hours or shifts when needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver residents to and from appointments safely and on time
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
• Follow all transportation laws, safety policies and HIPAA and regulatory standards
• Plan and coordinate transportation and outings for residents
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and families
• Participate in training and stay updated on regulations and best practices
