Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Driver to transport residents to scheduled destinations and engage with residents in a safe, friendly manner.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred. One year of experience with seniors is preferred and a clean driving record is required. CDL may be required for certain vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid class B CDL with passenger endorsement preferred (CDL may be required for certain vehicles at some communities).
• One-year experience driving for seniors is preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record (no violations).
• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions necessary to avoid accidents.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents safely to scheduled destinations.
• Provide for high level of resident engagement.
• Maintain cleanliness of bus and automobiles. Report needs for vehicle maintenance, such as oil changes, fluid levels, belts, batteries, etc.
