Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will support dining operations and help ensure a positive dining experience for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and respectful interactions with residents. A high school diploma is preferred, and prior food service experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must follow safety guidelines and workplace policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
