The Glen is seeking a Resident Assistant (Aide) for Enhanced Assisted Living in our community. The role emphasizes compassionate, home‑like care, assisting residents with daily living activities and supporting independence.

You will be a friendly, dependable presence, helping to create a warm, dignified living environment. Under the supervision of an LPN/RN, you will monitor resident well‑being, assist with medications as needed, and collaborate with teammates to maintain safety and comfort.

Competenze

• Must possess patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in senior care or health care is preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Assist residents in taking medications as needed.
• Encourage and support resident independence and dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and well-being, reporting changes to the LPN.
• Consult with the LPN/RN on any changes in health status of residents.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, understanding their routines and preferences.
• Help with light housekeeping and meal service to maintain a safe living space.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Promote a warm, friendly, and respectful environment.
