Job summary

Viva Senior Living in Rolla, Missouri is seeking a Resident Care Associate to provide direct care to residents, assist with activities of daily living, and contribute to a safe, compassionate living environment.

You will report changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Director and collaborate with the nursing team to support continuity of care while maintaining dignity and respect for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work well with peers in a compassionate, resident-focused environment.
• Must adhere to attendance policies and facility rules.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Provide direct care to residents and contribute to continuity of care and effective communication by reporting care provided and changes in the resident's condition to the Resident Care Director immediately. May participate in routine activities of resident’s care activities, including daily living.
• Assisting residents with lifts, moves, and transports, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention.
