Job summary

Great-Lakes-Management-Co. is seeking a Full-time housekeeping associate in Minnetonka, MN to maintain campus cleanliness and ensure residents, families, staff have a positive impression.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, resident rooms, laundry tasks, and seasonal duties; follow the established schedule, manage supplies, and keep areas neat and safe. Must have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains confidentiality.
• Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
