Job summary

NHC Place Anniston is hiring a Resident Attendant to support residents with daily living activities and personal care on a full-time/part-time basis. Position includes 8-hour shifts with rotating weekends (7:00am-3:00pm and 3:00pm-11:00pm) at our Anniston, AL location.

Responsibilities include charting accurately, ensuring resident comfort, maintaining a safe environment, assisting with transfers, and responding promptly to call lights.

Qualifications

• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Capable of charting accurately on the resident's plan or care record.
• Sensitive to residents' physical and psychosocial needs.
• Able to assist residents with transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living and provides for personal care and comforts.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Prepares residents for meals and services.
• Answers residents' call lights and anticipates needs.
