Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant/Caregiver to join our nursing team. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, meals, and social interactions, in a supportive home-like environment.

The role emphasizes monitoring residents’ comfort and collaborating with staff to ensure high-quality care. Evening and weekend availability may be required, with performance-based opportunities and a focus on holistic well-being.

Qualifications

• Required: Compassion and empathy
• Preferred: Previous experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of residents, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
• Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements
• Confidentially communicating urgent needs and concerns to the Health Care Director for next shifts
