Job summary

Ohio Valley Manor Care Community in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct, compassionate care to residents. You will assess health status, develop and implement care plans, and administer medications while collaborating with physicians and an interdisciplinary team.

You will monitor patient responses, educate families, and ensure accurate documentation in the EHR. A current RN license and experience in long-term or acute care are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in healthcare, long-term care, or acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient/resident health status.
• Develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, respiratory treatments.
• Educate patients and families on medications and lifestyle adjustments.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation of care activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and facility policies.
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide CPR when needed.
