Job summary

You will document patient data, ensure accurate coding, and maintain equipment, QA/QI activities, and compliance with HIPAA throughout duties in a non-exempt, regular position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
• CPR certified.
• ARRT(R) registered or eligible (see state requirements).
• State licensure in Kentucky and Indiana as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment in an effective, safe and efficient manner.
• Formulates and employs safe radiographic exposure factors and minimizes radiation dosage on each exam.
• Follow safety steps and comply with medical, state and federal safety standards.
• Proficient in all aspects of ordered X-ray procedures for diagnostic imaging.
• Utilizes computer systems in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
• Obtains and records patient data; ensures proper charging, coding, and modifiers.
• Reviews images for high quality; assists in QC, QA, and ACR as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment; notifies of malfunctions.
• Follows disinfectant guidelines and performs other duties as assigned.
