Sentara in Chesapeake, VA is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant for an outpatient rehab center on days, full-time. You will administer physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed physical therapist and support plan development and patient education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant is required.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Eligibility to practice as PTA in the state of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments under supervision of a PT.

• Document progress and communicate with the care team.
• Provide age-appropriate education to clients and caregivers.
