Meritus Health is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Total Rehab Care team in Hagerstown, Maryland. In this role, you will provide hands-on treatment and follow-up care to patients of all ages, ensuring their highest possible level of function and independence.

Requirements include graduation from an approved PTA program, an Associate of Arts degree, and an active Maryland license. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Associate of Arts degree required.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapy Assistant license or temporary license pending.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as per the Physical Therapist's plan.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and monitor patient status.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans.
