Job summary

Journey is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our care team and provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping patients reach rehab goals within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The PTA will contribute to building a strong therapy program, maintain licensure, and pursue ongoing professional development with our care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the licensed physical therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.
• Build a strong physical therapy program.
• Enhance clinical expertise, professional and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists and other professional staff, self-study, and other continuing education activities.
• Maintain a valid state license. Maintain awareness of issues related to the profession of physical therapy and the health care environment.
