Job summary

Home&Care Home Health provides in-home physical therapy services, supporting patients in Sheridan, WY. The Physical Therapy Assistant implements treatment plans, conducts therapeutic exercises, and documents care under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program.
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer Treatment Plans: implement physical therapy treatment plans as developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Therapeutic Exercises: provide non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, and various modalities (heat, light, cold, water, and electrical).
• Document Patient Care: document daily, weekly, or monthly records of patient care and submit clinical paperwork on time.
• Educational Participation: attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services.
• Report Issues: notify PT or Executive Director of equipment failures, shortages, staff or patient changes, and other issues.
• Scheduling and Office Tasks: schedule patients and perform office tasks.
• Infection Control: apply infection control and universal precautions.
• Clinical Assignments: accept clinical assignments matching education and competence.
• Promote Compliance: educate and assist with compliance with payors.
