Job summary

Qualifications

• Internal Applicants Only: One year of full-time or part-time experience as a Patient Monitor or Patient Care Technician may substitute for the required education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient's physical and emotional well-being and report unusual behavior or ailments to staff.
• Provide nursing, psychiatric and personal care to mentally ill forensic patients.
• Encourage residents to develop work skills and participate in social, recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Supervise residents on approved outings and document information regarding patient care and behavior.
