Job summary

Shadelands Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT and implement patient-centered treatment plans to improve independence and functional mobility.

The role offers PRN scheduling with pay ranging from $48 to $55 per hour, depending on experience, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current and active COTA certification and state license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Assist patients in improving independence with activities of daily living and functional mobility.
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, balance, cognition and functional skills.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress to the Occupational Therapist and team.
