Job summary

Visiting Angels Montgomery is seeking a Private Duty/Home Care Aide to support seniors in the Central Alabama region, including Tuskegee and Montgomery. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires empathy and a genuine desire to help seniors.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with prescribed medications (as directed by supervisors).
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the home or during outings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input and dietary considerations.
• Provide transportation when needed for appointments or activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe living environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Report any unusual incidents or changes to supervisors promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergencies.
