Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Osceola, NE is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver comprehensive therapy services in a post-acute/long-term care setting. Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Appropriate education level per state licensure requirements.
• Valid driver's license when applicable.
• BLS for health care providers required or within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.
• Educate clients/patients/residents and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• May supervise assistants, aides, and students as they provide client/patient/resident care.
• Provide ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise as determined by leadership.
