Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: phlebotomy or related certification.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy in accordance with safety goals and hospital protocols.
• Receive, label, transport, centrifuge, and aliquot specimens; prioritize STAT samples.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures and address patient questions.
