Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect blood and non-blood specimens (urine, sputum, semen, throat swabs) with proper technique.
• Label all specimens in the patient’s presence.
• Operate basic lab equipment (centrifuges, printers, scanners).
• Communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.
• Collect drug screens when applicable using Chain of Custody processes.
