CVS Health is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a high-volume retail setting in the United States. You will assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, interacting with patients and ensuring safety and accuracy in all processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age and able to meet state licensure requirements where applicable.
• Customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in filling prescriptions and handling medications.
• Ability to concentrate on tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven math and reasoning skills to calculate day’s supply, dosages and other prescriptions.
• Problem solving to identify and resolve issues related to orders, insurance, and patient questions.
• Ability to make sound decisions when faced with complex situations in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support timely, safe, and accurate prescription filling.
• Provide compassionate customer service and support patients and customers in the pharmacy.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and CVS policies with confidentiality and integrity.
• Build knowledge of tools and training resources to grow clinical, technical, and insurance expertise.
• Complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program and satisfy required registrations and certifications.
• Assist in maintaining inventory, processing insurance claims, and supporting pharmacy operations.
