Job summary

CVS Health in Kansas City is hiring a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams, help with prescription fulfillment, and deliver an empathetic, safe patient experience in our retail stores.

You will follow SOPs, participate in ongoing training, assist with immunizations and other services where allowed, and collaborate with Pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing, strong customer service, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for licensure and education.
• Minimum age 16 if not mandated by state board.
• State licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner.
• Use verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning to determine days supply, quantities, and dispensing needs.
• Identify and resolve patient or colleague issues.
• Physical demands: capable of lifting up to 20 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
