Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service to patients at pickup, drive-thru, and by phone.

The role requires completing training and meeting state licensing and certification requirements, with potential immunization responsibilities and ongoing opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge within a collaborative store environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• If the state board does not address or mandate a minimum age, must be at least 16 years of age.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Active enrollment in high school or high school equivalency program if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues effectively.
• Math: calculate tablets, days’ supply and dosage as needed.
• Physical Demands: able to lift and move items as part of daily duties.
