Qualifications

• Love for animals and commitment to care.
• Experience in kennel, animal care, veterinary, boarding, or daycare preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Comfort handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments.
• Able to stand, bend, lift, walk, and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and monitor boarding pets.
• Walk and exercise dogs as scheduled.
• Administer medications as directed.
• Bathed pets, including those fearful or resistant.
• Monitor pets for illness, injury, stress, or distress.
• Notify veterinary staff of concerns about a pet's condition.
• Keep kennels, runs, cages, and common areas clean and safe.
• Clean and disinfect kennel grounds and facility daily.
