Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or similar is a plus but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Certification or training in personal support or healthcare is an asset.
• Reliable transportation to Barton Hills, MI location.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to help clients move safely.
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' condition.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and adhere to policies.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
