Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a compassionate home care aide to support elderly and disabled clients in their own homes across Missouri. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping while promoting safety and dignity.

Candidates should have at least six months of experience with elderly or disabled individuals and a High School Diploma or GED. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential for traveling to client homes.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting elderly or disabled individuals (6+ months) is required or preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping and transportation to appointments when applicable.
• Promote a safe, comfortable and respectful environment for each client.
