Job summary

Hillcrest Health & Living in Bellevue, NE is seeking a Personal Care Assistant/Certified Medication Aide for Hillcrest Mable Rose. You will provide quality personal care, assist with medications, and support daily living activities for residents, under supervision of licensed staff.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with experience-based adjustments. This role requires reliability, compassion, and the ability to document care in the EMR. Benefits are offered by Hillcrest to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Medication Aide (40-hour) in Nebraska or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with elderly in Assisted Living or Dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality personal care and daily living support for residents.
• Administer medications following the five rights and document in the EMR.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, hygiene.
• Take vital signs as ordered and report out-of-range results.
• Assist with meals and dining and help residents to and from meals.
• Support health maintenance activities under licensed supervision.
• Launder resident clothing and linens.
• Communicate concerns with the nurse and shifts.
• Complete documentation in the EMR by exception in DAR format.
• Assist with general cleaning and organize tasks.
• Help implement scheduled resident activities.
