Job summary

ESSENTIAL ANGEL CARE LLC in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support clients with daily living activities and provide compassionate, dependable in-home care. You will work as part of a dedicated team, delivering high-quality care to improve clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, nutrition support, and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals. A valid driver's license and weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving training is a plus.
• Experience in caregiving or personal care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medication and monitor clients' health as directed.
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition management.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Document client progress and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the caregiving process.
