Job summary

Chosen Village is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our in-home care team across Texas, delivering high-quality daily living support and contributing to clients' overall well-being.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, medication administration, mobility, and cognitive activities. Flexible scheduling and in-person work are available with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation guidelines.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor client health.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required.
• Support clients with memory care activities and cognitive engagement.
