Right at Home Coachella Valley is currently seeking dedicated Caregivers to fill immediate openings across the Coachella Valley, Yucca Valley, Morongo Valley, and Joshua Tree areas. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will support seniors and adults with disabilities with daily living activities, with strong emphasis on compassion, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking) as required for the role.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance/registration.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Certification as CNA/Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with client mobility and safe transfers throughout the home.
• Performing housekeeping duties (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, linens, bathroom sanitation).
• Preparing meals and snacks per client instructions.
• Accompanying clients to errands and medical appointments.
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, showering, dressing, shaving).
• Providing medication reminders.
• Facilitating prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Delivering specialized dementia care.
• Providing companionship through activities (reading, music, puzzles).
