Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Caregiver Personal Care Aide to assist clients in their homes across Mount Vernon, TX. You’ll help with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship, delivering person-centered care with dignity and respect.

A reliable, patient attitude and good communication are essential; high school diploma or GED preferred. Competitive hourly pay up to $16, daily pay options, paid training, and opportunity for career growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience providing care to elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
