Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate LPN to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing to a 9-year-old in Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. You’ll perform hands-on care in the home and community, including school days with a nurse and occasional doctor visits.

Training is available for LPNs with Hoyer lift and G-tube experience. Join a large, award-winning private duty team offering flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN), immediate 24/7 local support, and opportunities for skill advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on component.
• TB skin test within the last 12 months.
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• G-tube care and Hoyer lift experience preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled private duty nursing in the patient’s home and community.
• Perform G-tube care as established in the plan of care.
• Assist with transfers using a Hoyer lift.
• accompany patient to school and doctor appointments as scheduled.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document care accurately in electronic systems.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and daily needs.
• Maintain clear communication with family and clinical team.
