Elara Caring is seeking a Caregiver Personal Care Aide (PCA) to help clients at home. The role involves providing personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, and daily living activities with a focus on comfort and dignity.

Candidate must hold MA CNA or HHA certification or PHCAST courses; HS diploma preferred. Reliable transportation and strong communication are essential for delivering compassionate, respectful care.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks. Provide companionship and emotional support to improve quality of life.
• Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments (when applicable).
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for each client.
