Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is hiring a Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation for patients in recovery. This on-site, per-diem role requires safe travel to appointments, sessions, and activities from Laurel Run, PA, with travel up to 100% as needed.

The position reports to the Director of Operations and emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and teamwork in a healthcare environment. Perks include comprehensive insurance, retirement, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance requirements.
• Healthcare or behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments and sessions.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety rules.
• Maintain a secure, professional environment during transport.
• Interact empathetically with patients and coordinate with staff.
• Communicate schedules and concerns with the team.
