Responsibilities

• Safely transports patients and secures IVs, drainage tubes, etc.
• Uses wheelchairs and other rolling stock as needed.
• Demonstrates competency across all age groups.
• Transports patients timely and safely using proper equipment.
• Communicates with nursing staff, clinicians, and dispatch.
• Ensures patient comfort and modesty, offers blankets and appropriate conversation.
• Alerts staff to distress or equipment malfunction.
• Maintains equipment and reports needed repairs.
• Complies with regulatory standards including HIPAA.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
