Job summary

Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center is hiring a Nursing Assistant – Patient Transporter through ServiceSource. You will transport patients and items safely and timely, assisting inpatients and outpatients across the campus.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings or weekends, English proficiency, and completion of Heartsaver/CPR certification on hire. A DHS clearance is required and the position is contract-based with renewal possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• English proficiency preferred.
• Must pass FBI DHS clearance upon hire.
• Must obtain Heartsaver/CPR certification upon hire.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist inpatients and outpatients with safe transport using wheelchairs, gurneys, or beds.
• Escort patients to and from hospital entrances and parking structures.
• Maintain clear communication with Dispatch for transport instructions.
• Provide basic assistance to patients entering or exiting transport devices.
• Collect specimens from hospital units and deliver to the laboratory.
