Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three months of job-related experience.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from various areas of the medical center as directed.
• Assists patients in and out of beds and with wheelchairs, stretchers, and mobility devices.
• Uses patient handling equipment safely and in accordance with hospital policy.
• Maintains communication with supervisor and collaborates with the care team.
• Ensures cleaning of mobility equipment after use and adheres to infection control guidelines.
