Job summary

My MediRides is seeking reliable and compassionate Stretcher Transport Drivers to safely transport patients to medical appointments, dialysis, and therapy sessions. You will drive a company vehicle, using GPS to navigate to multiple locations across the service area.

We provide in-field training, a company vehicle with fuel card, and a supportive team environment. Flexible scheduling and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of verified driving experience.
• Valid state driver's license.
• 2+ years stretcher transport experience preferred.
• EMT-B or Paramedic certification preferred.
• At least 30 years of age.
• Live within 30 minutes of job location.
• Pass background, drug screening, MVR check.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and climb in/out of vehicles.
• Comfortable using GPS/technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments
• Provide professional, courteous service at all times
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information
• Report any moving violations to supervisor immediately
